# Getting Started

1. Download the Apps: Get the Mobile Capture App and Desktop Uploader from the Self Capture for Properties Landing Page.

2. Prepare Your Controller:
   - Set it to 'P' mode for smoother flying.
   - Make sure joysticks are attached for manual control when needed.

3. Double Login:
   - Open the Zeitview App on your flight device and sign in.
   - Log into your Zeitview account on a separate device (computer/tablet) for uploading and viewing data.

# Setting Up Your Flight

1. ### Create a New Site:
   1. In the Zeitview App, tap "Create New Site" (bottom right corner).
   2. Enter the property address. Tip: Enable location services for autofill.
   3. Hit "Next."

2. ### Choose Inspection Type:
   1. Automated Roof Inspection (Recommended): For detailed roof reports.
   2. Manual Inspection: For full manual control, no report generation.

3. ### Outline the Property:
   1. Place dots at the property corners.
   2. Adjust the outline as needed by dragging the dots.
   3. Hit "Reset" if you need to start over.

4. ### Select Your Reports
   1. Roof Inspection: Included with Automated Roof Inspections.
   2. Measurement Report / Condition Report: Optional (additional fees).

5. ### Tap "Confirm."

# Configure Close-Up Images

- Adjust Speed: Faster speed means fewer images.
- Don't Change: Overlap, Gimbal Angle, Starting Waypoint.
- Flight Direction: Make lines perpendicular to the roof ridge.

# Configure Ortho Images (Optional)

- On-Site Reporting: Set "Starting Waypoint" to max to skip ortho. You'll be asked to capture manual shots instead.
- Standard Ortho: Adjust Mapping Speed if needed.

# Initiate Your Flight

1. Hit the 'Fly' Button: Stay aware of FAA Part 107 visual line of sight rules.
2. Align with the Ridge: Line up the drone with the roof line and hit "Confirm."
3. Monitor and Maneuver: Supervise the drone and live view. Use manual control to navigate obstacles, then hit "Resume."
4. Watch for Battery: Pause the flight and swap batteries if needed. Resume when you're ready.

# Completing the Capture

1. Manual Shots (Optional): Have a clear checklist of areas to focus on.
2. Hit 'Complete': Land the drone safely.
3. Complete Image Scan: Keep your flight device powered on until this step is complete.
4. Begin Upload: Insert your SD card into a laptop to use the Desktop uploader.

# Additional Tips

- Bad Cell Service? Upload later or go to App Settings > Insights Cloud Upload > Enable "Upload using WiFi or Data Plan."
- Review Assets: Log into your Zeitview Insights account on your computer/tablet to analyze the results.
