Once the latest inspection for a site has downloaded, click on the site record in the Sites screen to load the inspection map. You can access the map for downloaded inspections even when your mobile device has no internet connectivity.
By default, the inspection map will display outlines (i.e. layers) of the site, stacks, and inverters - if inverter encoding was performed for the site. As you zoom into the map, labels for selected layers will appear, as will anomalies and the site schematic representing the modules on the site. The image below highlights the various features of the inspection map.
- Geospatial Layers
- Filters
- Anomaly Color Options
Geospatial Layers
The following layers can be displayed/hidden from the map:
Stack Layer – Geospatial layers defined by Zeitview that logically separate the site into distinct groups of modules. Stacks, in combination with position identifiers, uniquely identify the locations of modules.
Inverter Layer – Geospatial layers that group modules based on how they are electrically connected to inverters on the site. Inverter Layer is only available for sites that have inverter-level nomenclature encoding.
Combiner Layer – Geospatial layers that group modules based on how they are electrically connected to combiner boxes on the site. Combiner Layer is only available for sites that have combiner-level nomenclature encoding.
Filters
Anomaly filters can be applied to only show anomalies that match specific properties. The following filter properties are available:
- Priority – Refers to the priority of remediation for the anomaly - the lower the priority number, the higher its importance.
- Anomaly Status – Refers to the resolution status of the anomaly.
- IR Signal – Refers to the thermal signature of the anomaly.
- RGB Signal – Refers to the visual cause of the anomaly.
By default, no filters are applied and all anomalies will be displayed on the map. When multiple filters are applied, the filters work according to the following rules:
- Filtering items within a property will consider anomalies that match any of the filter options selected.
- Filtering items across properties will only consider anomalies that match at least one of the selected filter options in all of the filter properties.
For example, if you filter by the following filters:
- Priority: 1 – Remediation Recommended
- IR Signals: Sectional Outage, String Outage
- RGB Signal: No RGB Signal
Then only anomalies that are Priority 1 and have No RGB Signal, and have either a Sectional Outage or String Outage thermal signature will be displayed.
Note: Currently, the number of anomalies displayed under each filter property value represents the total number of anomalies that have that property value. This number does not change as filters are applied.
Anomaly Color Options
Anomalies can be colored on the Inspection Map according to different properties of the anomalies. By default, anomalies are displayed according to the color that matches their priority. Anomalies can also be colored based on their IR Signal or RGB Signal property value. The colors attributed to different anomaly property values are shown in the Filter panel.
