## Welcome!

If you are a first-time user, an administrator will create a new account for you, and you will receive a Zeitview Insights Password Change email to welcome you to the platform and prompt you to set your password.

## Logging In

Visit your company's custom URL (it will look like this: [http://your_company_name.insights.dronebase.com](http://vestas.insights.dronebase.com/)) and then enter your email and password to log in. You use [insights.dronebase.com](http://insights.dronebase.com/) and that will also bring you to your organization instance based on your profile.

If you've forgotten your password, click "Forgot Password", enter your email, and click "Send". A password update email will be sent to you.

## User Roles and Site Permissions

Every user account has:

- a **Role** assigned to them that determines which pages and features you're able to access
- a set of **Sites** that determines which Sites, Assets, and Anomaly data you're able to access

Some features and pages described in this User Guide will be available and visible only to certain roles; you can find more information about how roles affect specific features [here](https://dronebaseinsights.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040362231).

## Definitions

Some terms you may encounter throughout the DroneBase Insights platform and user guide:

**Anomaly** - an irregularity on an asset found during an inspection; an anomaly may be physical damage (e.g., a crack), but may also be a non-damage issue (e.g., excessive grease), or a problematic area that requires further inquiry (e.g., a hot solar panel).

**Asset** - generic name for a wind turbine or a set of solar panels.

**Site** - a location that contains many assets; e.g., a wind farm or a solar plant.
