- Site Details
- Scheduling

- Summary
Property Info
Enter the location where you would like us to capture inspection data. Our system will check for airspace restrictions at the location. If there are any flight restrictions, you will see the information next to the mini-map for airspace checks. However, you can continue placing an order. Our team will reach out to you if we need to apply for a permit for your location.
A reference ID is optional. This field helps sync the inspection with your organization’s reference ID, if you have one, making it easier to refer to or track your inspection.
Add Users and Give Access to the inspection
You can invite users in your organization (with Zeitview accounts only) to the inspection during the ordering process. This allows them to view the inspection and receive its status and update notifications.
Users who already have " All Sites" permissions on Insights will automatically receive access to new sites added to your organization, so you don't need to add them here. You can add new users and manage permissions in your Users tab.
Next, enter the name or email into the " Give Access " input field. There are two sections in the dropdown: the Current Access list, which shows people who already have access to “ All Sites,” and the Add User list, where you can grant access now by selecting the checkbox.
Once you add users, you will see a summary list of the new users you have granted access to for this inspection. You have the option to enable email notification updates for them by clicking " Watching." Alternatively, you can just grant access without notifications or remove them from the list by clicking " X" to remove.
Select a package
You will need to select a package for your inspection. Each package has pricing, deliverable items, and examples. You will see the packages based on your organization's agreement with Zeitview.
At the bottom of the page, you will see the Customer Instructions section, where you can add anything else you would like us to know about this order.
Site Details
On this page, you will specify the area you would like us to fly, such as a particular building, parking lot, or multiple buildings. Use the Property Area tool on the left to create a polygon. If there are multiple buildings, please use one polygon per building so you can assign the deliverable specifically for each building. If the package includes Panoramas, the Panorama tool will be available.
There is a step-by-step guide, " How to use the map?" to help you draw a polygon on the map. Additionally, the " Instructions" tab will show you how the Property Area, Panorama, and Point tools work.
Catalog items
Catalog items are deliverables for each property area so you can pick and choose what you need. If you select a package that already identifies the deliverables, you won’t need to choose catalog items.
For example, you might need a roof report for Property Area #1 and roof measurements for Property Area #2.
Once you finish selecting the catalog items for all your properties, you will see the total area and mission price at the bottom.
If everything looks good, you can proceed to the next step by clicking the “ Next” button.
Note: If you are missing any deliverables such as a panorama or orthomosaic included in the package, we will prompt you with a warning to go back and add them to the map before you can move to the next step.
Scheduling
Scheduling is composed of 4 main parts:
- Weather preference: Customers can choose how they would like the images to look, depending on the weather and turnaround time.
Below are example images for each preference:
Time Preference: In most cases, we schedule flights to take place within 2-3 days of booking between 11 AM and 3 PM for optimal sunlight. We will schedule the pilot during that time depending on pilot availability in the area. However, if you have a preferred time, you can specify a date and time that is convenient for you.
On-site contact: For on-site contact, if you don’t have specific instructions that the pilot needs to meet someone on-site or speak to anyone, you can leave this as the default option. However, if the pilot needs to call someone in advance to coordinate their arrival or if they run into any issues on-site, please provide the on-site contact information below.
Property Access Instructions: If your property is difficult to access or requires specific instructions for entry, please leave your instructions here. These instructions will be passed on to our pilots. For example, gate code 1234, enter from access road, do not contact tenants.
Summary
The summary page is just to ensure everything looks good for you before you place the order. If you would like to go back to any steps, you can click on the step’s name at the top of the page to return and edit that specific page.
